Soweto FIFA World Cup 2010

A 5-week course run against the backdrop of The FIFA World Cup 2010.

The project focused on what the tournament signified for the communities from which our 8 students were drawn. The programme was a collaboration with Umuzi Photo Club in Soweto. Photographs were exhibited at The Oxo Gallery on London’s South Bank as well as in the Johannesburg townships of Soweto and Diepsloot. This was the first Wembley to Soweto cohort.
